The highlight of getting around the Veneto Region, we were staying in Vicenza, was working with and meeting Valter Montagnin. Our plan was to visit the iconic Villa Barbaro in Maser, by architect Andrea Palladio, and the exquisite Tomba Brion near Treviso, designed by Carlo Scarpa. We were treated at the end of the daytrip with the majestic views of Villa Rotunda, another masterpiece by Palladio.
